Growing up in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn rapping was easy for Money Gramz. He was discovered of his talent for the art of hip-hop by engaging in numerous freesyles with some well known underground acts such as Geda K, Livin Proof, and Joell Ortiz. He was also in several cyphas with Memphis Bleek in which he became familar with through Bleek's cousin who he grew up with and appeared in the "Memph Bleek is" video when he was 16 (1999). Mike Heron told him that he was future which inspired him to write his first real song called "I'm Crack" in which he used himself speaking in 3rd party as being the actual drug. In the song he explains the highs and lows of the sell and usage of it. The whole metaphorical concept and witty punch lines open people's eyes to a new him and started to respect him as a lyrical beast. The streets always anticipated him to blow up after writing and recording several other tracks due to his wordplay and songwriting skills. He led a street life and caught a few years in and out of jail which always put his music on hold but everytime he came out he would have over 50 songs with different stories and concepts written and would record a few and the streets would always ask for more. After going thru all that and dealing with other issues recovering from a near death car accident, The streets was still demanding his music thats when he began to realize it was deeper then he thought and began to take it more seriously. He started to get back in the studio and seen that he still had it and left everything alone to pursue it has nothing on his mind but music coming out with another hit called "Underdog" which been getting a lot of positive feedback on the Internet especially overseas and the song M.O.N.E.Y which brings a more club vibe and shows his versatility, He continues to make good songs and is working on making his presence felt and leaving his mark in the industry.
