With over 8 million hits on You Tube, 16 year old Shameik, also known as Meak, has already sparked the interest of many with his singing and dancing. His professional resume includes appearances in television, radio commercials, music videos and live performances. Shameik‟s passion for entertaining grew as he began to study dancers like Chris Brown, Omarion, Michael Jackson and James Brown and developed his own personal style of dance. He has since danced in several music videos such as Keri Hilson, “Turning Me On”, Pop It Off Boyz, “Crank Dat Batman”, Soulja Boy Tell „EM, “Bird Walk”, and many more, which all appeared on Black Entertainment Television (BET), MTV, and VH1. Shameik is debuting his mix tape called “I Am Da Beat”. His music is a blend of R&B and Pop fused with a little Rock and Reggae. He stays busy in the recording studio with his dad, Errol Moore, a former band member of Monyaka a popular North American reggae ensemble, exploring and developing his sound. He has done a few commercials on Cartoon Network such as “Paper Jamz Guitar” & “Comedy Block Central” and “Pop Pop Toy.” He was also tested for Disney Channel‟s “Shake It Up”. Shameik has made several guest appearances on major television sitcoms such as Tyler Perry‟s “House of Payne” and BET new show “Reed Between The Lines.” A young star on the rise, Shameik is what the entertainment industry has dubbed a “triple threat,” a talented singer, dancer and actor.
